I'm not afraid to tell you that I did vote Obama. Hillary still won Rhode Island's primary, but that's okay for now.

Technically there are NO good candidates. Obama doesn't seem overtly idealistic. Sure, he knows better than the rest how to psyche-up a crowd, create fervor for his mighty cause. What he is is a great positivistic (not the philosophy) bull-shitter, the best of the bunch, and probably the most moderate sounding, which won him brownie points with me. Obama's also has some sort of a health plan, but from what I hear, it's even less workable (not that I was hoping for miracle) than Clinton's.

Hillary seemed too much like a political "gamer", a politician if you will, and my feelings of distrust for her started with her moral crusade, hot on the heels of Joe Lieberman in attempts to ban or more stringently control violent or otherwise controversial videogame content and spend millions of dollars investigating "the impact of electronic media on children’s “cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.” Now I'd ( ... )
