 The Olympics are eating my brain.  I just can't get enough.  The only bad thing is when they keep showing endless hours of beach volleyball, when Equestrian is only on Oxygen and I don't get that channel.  Balls.  Most of the dude swimmers are pretty hawt, even if Ian Thorpe (my boyfriend from the last olympics) did retire.  I can even look at

I can even look at Michael Phelps as long as I ignore the face.

This is a conversation I had with my son last night:

Son: Is that Michael Phelps?
Me: Is he ugly?
Son: Yeah.
Me: Then that's him.

He he. I'm right with ya there. Most of the other swimmers have pretty cute faces to boot.

I was talking to my boss this morning about the olympics in general and here's a snippet...

Me: "Michael Phelps is nice to look at below the neck" Boss Lady: "Oh, I think he's cute".
Me: "Oh, but I like him better below the neck"
Boss Lady: *fanning herself* "well, yeah...below the neck he's amazing."

Now, keep in mind Boss Lady is a very prim and proper lady in her 50's. ;)

Then again, all swimmers have great physiques. MP needs some serious dental work (like jaw broken, rewired, and years of braces) and an ear pinning.

Last night I watched target shooting. I have no idea why, but I found it oddly compelling.

I used to be on a shooting team, so it's really interesting to me, esp. since I know how hard it is in competition.
