That's why I am SO AFRAID to join a raiding guild. It's one thing when you know the expectations up front, and you know and agree to when you have to be where, and I salute the folks who do it.

But I get pissed off when it suddenly it turns into, "We scheduled BWL tonight and now we're done with it, but hey, we've decided that we're going to run MC afterward, and if you don't want to come we're going to make passive-aggressive FROW-NY-FACE at you."

Just think, back in the day, Molten Core and Onyxia were IT.
Imagine running that instance a couple times a week, every week, for months. XD

I hear you on the workfulness. Hardcore Raiding can be a seeeeeerious drag. The critically important thing is to have Guildies that you love to just hang out with. You need to have forty people that you wouldn't mind just chatting with for twelve hours a week. If you don't have that chemistry, then yah. :/

Especially if that Guild Leader sounds like a prudish boor. But... WAGH. Mandatory runs of UBRS after MC? Past Midnight even? -weak-. Don't put up with that. :( PLENTY of PuG UBRS runs where you can ninja crap you need from losers. Raiding is definitely not worth burning midnight oil for unless you're on some crazy roll.
