an oak tree

We went to Tate Liverpool today and saw an art called An Oak Tree by Michael Craig-Martin, but there were only a glass of water on a higher glass shelf and a sheet of explantation on the lower wall:











I think he made his point and I agree with him, yes, in contemporary art world, any existing object can be declared a work of art.
