About the gazelle: whew...I was a little worried. Heh, heh...dirty.
Would I move to Yugoslavia?
Well, moving would imply an intent to live, which was never part of my Yugoslavia plan, at least not after the war. If Kosovo had not happened, I would say, yes, without a doubt. Yugoslavia was my only dream. Now that the war has come, gone and carried off my dream with it, no--I would not go there to live, but I will go there to die. Yugoslavia and I belong together in a very final way.
I will go there to concertize, without question, I will visit...Yugoslavia has always been a huge influence on my sense of identity, but what I wanted no longer exists.
A little morbid, I know, but you asked. ;) Love, a.
1. something random about you: you tap dance! 2. movie: sleepaway camp 1, 2, and 3! song: the theme music to mario brothers. doo doo doo - doodoodahdoo... 3. vegetarian agar agar based jello substitute... CORN flavor! (hee hee) 4. "we have a new roommate. he's under the mug in the kitchen." 5. you, me, crystal allendorf, and a kitten with the runs! ah, woodstock... 6. your animal: a peacock. you're both flashy, fabulous and make people stop and admire and want to take pictures. 7. something i've always wondered: this is hard because i think i probably blurt out every question i've ever wanted to ask you... so... i'll ask you where and when you began to develop your fabulous sense of fashion.
1. something random about you: you're a doctoral fellow! 2. song: have her home by ten, natch! movie: whenever i see ads for the baxter, i think of you! 3. coffee flavored jello (that shit is amazing.) 4. "oh my god, we're such groupies. I'M FOURTEEN!" and also, "you brought your ID this time... RIGHT?!" 5. drinking coffee on avenue A in the pouring rain, then cramming a target bookshelf into the back of a taxi! 6. your animal: one of the really cute little birds you always see in the city... i think they're called european starlings? 7. something i've always wondered: if you weren't going to go into psychology, what would you want to do, career-wise?
Hehe, well that's one fantastic question! And it really happened the second time I was in Germany. I dyed my hair red, got it cut at a trendy Hamburg salon, and then went shopping...I was amazed. I started trying on all these amazing fitted European-cut pants and really had an epiphany of how to dress well! (does this sound conceited?) And did I ever tell you this story before??
(and are we still doing Coney Island this weekend?)
uhh uhh... do me baby!eating_meSeptember 1 2005, 10:11:24 UTC
1. something random: your middle initial is Q! 2. movie: party monster! 3. i want to wrestle you in a pile of chocolate jello pudding pops! 4. (wiggling fingers) "i see you're wearing your overalls!" 5. since you already described our fortuitous DH meeting, i'll say... later that night, sitting outside of big haus in a huge circle, smoking cigarettes with all the new purchase queens! 6. your animal: the bunny rabbit from the monty python movie... cute and cuddly with sharp, pointy teeth (rrawwwr!) 7. something i've always wondered: where do you work? i can't believe it, but i'm realizing now that i have no idea where you work/what you do.
