And I totally understand what you mean and think you are making the right decision. :) Obviously you have to make sure that he has the essentials, but love and quality time fill holes that no amount of toys or gourmet food can fill.

I'm supposed to close on the house on the 21st (thank Buddha), and then once it's over, my plan is going into action. I think. XD I'm sort of scouting for something other than Patti's. I'm seriously at my wit's end with that place.
