are there real frozen over lakes to skate on? in new mexico there are rinks, and thats about it...

Whoa! New Mexico! My parents took a road trip to Mexico when they were like 18 but then ran out of money in Colorado and so that's where I ended up being born. But, uh, we do have lakes that freeze, but not yet. So we're planning on going to a rink. =)
