Against a Dark backdrop, use of weapons and the player of games. My friend is a big fan of his and lended me a few of them.
I just don't like what he does sometimes. I do, however, like the universe he has created.

Try reading some of his non-sci-fi stuff. Walking on Glass and The Bridge are among my favourites. Whit is also very cool.

Good, good. Excession is next in line.

I'm just starting to get into his sci-fi series.

Excession is much 'harder' sci-fi, I'd say, but I thought it was quite good. I've read all his M books bar Feersum Endjinn, which I keep meaning to get around to.

The good news is, he's releasing a new one in October :D
