Cooked 22 Pizzas

today at jesus cares. Cat made some spicy homemade sauce that was delicious, she also cooked sausage and beef for the toppings. Everyone flipped over our humble pie. Another helper put together 40 bananna splits, mmm! When we got home Cat and I were wron out, so we napped until 4 then I got up and mowed the grass while she cooked some rice and ( Read more... )

YOu can listen to the sound of earthworms moving through the dirt on Living on Earth's webpage audiobite....at loe.org...
ITs strange to listen to the earth...I remember trying to do this when I was smaller...while laying in the tall monkey grass under the oaktrees...or wallowing in the crunchie leaves in the woods...sitting near the seaoats on the beach...sifting sand in my palm...
I think I need to get a tiller to get ready to put in a kitchen garden for this summer! yes!

I wish we had time to fine toon some things about sauce...
and pizza crust...
and toppings...and the time that cheese goes in the oven
and out...

We do. Let's take special care next Thursday and make the pizzas like individual works of art. We'll bring some homegrown basil, we'll melt some butter and make a garlic spread. We'll tuen down the oven and add the cheese after it's cooked a little...we'll even make a taco pie! I think if we turn down the heat the cheese won't burn -- we'll play with it until its' saauh-sweeeet!
