Everyone please take a moment to pray for the family and friends of Ashleigh Webster, who committed suicide yesterday. Even if you didn't know her, even if you didn't like her (which I have a hard time imagining), please pray for those of us she left behind. We will be dedicating the Voices Lit Mag to her this year. Anyone that has any writings by Ashleigh, please send them to Mary Roth, Mrs. Cling, or myself. We morn the loss of a brilliant writer, a brilliant woman, and a brilliant friend.

We will miss her so very much.

It still seems so unreal you know, she was the one who taught me how to wear makeup lol. Gah, she had such a pretty smile such big dreams. I will pray for her and her family, and thank you Hannah for this post.

Hannah, I need you to do me a favor. I don't know the parents at all. But I would like to get whatever I can of Ashleigh's to put in the lit mag. Any short stories, poetry, anything. Would you ask them? I know this must me hard...but I can't think of a better way to honor her, at least with my resources.

I'd build her a statue if I could.
