Why is it that what most people who I know consider to be the most wealthy and strongest country (the U S of A) in the entire world can fail to effectively handle a natural disaster that has already been predicted years ahead???

Sadly, common sence is not something we (people in general) seem to be high on most of the time. . . I swear, I may move to Canada one day.

Hi, it's no bother... One of the many benefits of having a paid LJ account is the ability to customize it to your preferences. Once you have a paid account, one of the new optional layouts is called "Quite Lickable". I used that one along with the default color theme. I hope that helps you.
