I love this mix so much because I just love this pairing.

And the book GAH the book does funny things to my heart it really does.

I saw the musical first and loved it and it made me want to read the book. But omg the book is just something else. I really find Gregory Maguire to be so poetic sometimes his description of them as "blue diamonds on a green field" among other things, I read over and over just because they were so gorgeous.
