aside from the absurd egoccentric lies that most of us tend to say/do in one time or another, it is an extremely thin line, the one that separates a lie from the truth...

what makes you say that? i understand it in the sense that every time you reminisce something and tell it to somebody else, it has eventually changed a little bit... but that is just memory and emotion's fault. you could also argue that from thought to words, things get neglected... at the end of the day, if you think about it too much, there's just no such thing as truth whatsoever...

my point exactly. unless you make it deliberately, when you try to put feelings or emotions down to words, something extremely important gets lost in the process. for that reason, when you try to express it, you are definitely not saying the truth - even if you want it. so, the only real difference between a lie and the truth is intention.

that leaves us with another question... is intention always a conscious process?

Say what you like
Say what you see behind my eyes
I wanna know
Cause I know what I see in you
