I give up.

I just sent an email to my mum and my sister (I can't phone them because I ran out of credit) to ask them to help me come home.

I don't think I can come home until January. I'd like to leave sooner, but I don't think that's going to happen.

Should have thought this one through a bit more.

Don't be miserable, lovely. You're still fabulous and wonderful and brave and now I can ACTUALLY make plans to meet up with you one day.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to hear! It looks like it'll be late January/early February. Possibly late February. (Ack.) March at the very latest. I'll put it this way, I definitely don't have actual plans to still be here when the royal wedding's on.

And when I come home, we'll definitely have to meet up - I've got to come see you skate!
