Well, it's been a long time since I've updated LiveJournal, hasn't it? >_> Well, good news?

We started reading Of Mice and Men in English. It's only 107 pages. I could probably flip through it in a couple hours, but it looks so boring. D

The book's plot is rather boring, in my opinion, even considering its genre (in which I, personally, am less interested). However, Steinbeck's writing is excellent.

Actually, I thought Of Mice and Men was a very interesting book. But it was probably only because 1) I was running out of things to read at the time, and 2) my English class dove really deeply into the book, pulling out all of these things out of it that you would have never noticed, like handicapped-people issues, the characters' motives and values, etc. and I found it all rather fascinating. But anyways, that all came from a person who likes reading mysteries and classic novels, so... yesh. :P
