[He swallows the last of the cookie and picks up the comm device.]

Same as you did; I have no idea. 'Been here awhile though.

...Now that I think about it, that sounds really bad.

Uh, this place is kinda weird about that. When you get here, your time in the real world stops. So even though I was there, I'm here too? If that makes any sense.

[He thinks about that and then nods.]

Alright. It makes as much sense as anything else. [You know, like jumping in and out of TVs.]

[Seriously, if it weren't for the midnight channel, the shadows, the bear mascots that're empty on the inside, he'd still be skeptical about being here.]

It's kinda crazy, and there're a lot of weird people here too. But you get used to it.

Tell me about this place?

Uh-- the rundown. Okay.

Well, first off you're probably gonna be here for awhile, so you should grab a room. You can pretty much pick whatever one you want, as long as it's empty. There's always food in the kitchen and in the dining room you can just eat without paying. There's a pool, and a garden, and a beach...

And then there are the events.

What are they?

A lot of crazy stuff. Most recently there was the chess match... Guess I gotta explain the mirrors too. There was a chess match that these two girls set up, but all the pieces were real people from the mansion-- And on the other side were their "mirrors."

Here, on the other side of the mirrors is a whole 'nother mansion, but in reverse. And our reflections live there-- They look exactly like us, but their personalities are totally different.

At first I thought it was something like a shadow, but I don't think that's right anymore.

So we should be expecting weird things to happen.
