"He ate my heart," the raven boy looked indifferent, almost mechanical into the officer's eyes.
"That doesn't answer the question," it was an impersonal reply as the officer jotted down some notes, "I guess we'll just have to take you down to the station."

"Don't be like that, Key. I just can't have this," his voice trailed off at the end as he shifted in his seat.
"Why! I love..." Key's voice choked and his vision blurred. The lights flickered without resolve.
"This is for the best," the older boy said, as he looked into the other boy's eyes, emotionless now.
"Onew..." was his last word before he restarted with another flicker of the lights. He had intent in his eyes.
Onew's cry was piercing and compunctious for what he had done.
Key relayed the story to the investigator as it replayed like a movie in his mind without the feelings, like music without sound.
"That boy was a monster."
