So, soon we'll all go carolin', no doubt that's got me juiced, but gettin' all you guys involved had more than just one use. It showed that folks still love the music, even in this place, and now I'm curious to find your own personal tastes.

Carols aside, what's your tune? I'm eager to be learnin' to what kind of beat you aren't immune; what gets ( Read more... )

I like the national anthem.

And "My Country 'Tis of Thee." And "America the Beautiful."

Full up on the national pride, huh? Makes sense, considerin'.

Course I am. Plus, those kinds of songs are usually pretty catchy anyway.

Hey, did you say "caroling"?

No argument there.

That I did; put up a call for volunteers yesterday. Got a hefty crowd signin' up, but there's always room for another, if you're interested.

Missed out on the call earlier, huh? A lot of people want to get together and sing Christmas songs to everyone else.

You... do know what Christmas is, right?

...'caroling'?

I don't really listen to music, honestly.

dear presley what is wrong with all these worlds Yep, caroling. People get together and go around singin' to everyone else about Christmas time; snow, warm fires, spending time with family and friends, general good times like that.

Shame, that. I've always found that listenin' to a song you like can really make a difference in a person's day.

I've never heard of anybody doing that... what else do you do for this Christmas thing? I heard a guy named Santa's s'posed to come.

Ah, I was always told that it's just distracting. I'm used to people singing, yeah, but I don't have a particular taste.

Well, you'll get a fair share of it here. Looks like there are a lot of people who are planning on joining in.

Christmas... well, you bake cookies, watch properly-themed movies, listen to Sinatra, decorate Christmas trees, bake more cookies, gain weight, get caught under the mistletoe, play in the snow, go ice skating, maybe some more cookies, give presents to people. Santa himself is basically the Christmas incarnate, you know? Brings gifts to kids who've been good all year.

Well, I'm not one to tell people what to do, but I recommend looking in to a few. Just my opinion.

I'm with you Spin :o I don't think I could pick a favorite type of music. As long as it comes from the heart of the singer
I think it's wonderful! :D

Music can't really be put in one camp, right? So long as it makes the people come together, that's what important.

Ain't all that picky myself. Do have a soft spot for that new techno stuff comin' out sometimes, though! Some of that sounds pretty nice...can't go much wrong with classic rock n' roll, though.

A good place to be, Sir. Old time rock 'n' roll, that kind of music just soothes my soul.
