Can't get my head away from this strain, this music's really become a pain. A fine enough listen if you choose on your own, but you lose the bliss in the blues if you can't escape the moan. Long enough, it's hard to be missin' the muse behind the words of renown.

It's no one song that plays endless over the mono, but I'd say it's a medley composed ( Read more... )

music sense, melodious metaphors, quit gettin' mad, be excellent to each other

[Have a confused hedgehog. He caught the history lesson, but the rest of it just went right over his head. Given the general level of woe on the network lately, though, he thought he'd at least try]

...are you alright?

Me? Yeah, I'm just fine.

What about you?

[...that's a hell of an epic post for "just fine," but okay]

Um...alright. Good.

I'm...[hai thar uncertainty]...okay.

Just okay?

I'm not one to pry, but if you want something off your chest, I'll listen.

You're saying that everyone should get along, right?

Did I say that? I was just rambling about a song stuck in my head. Seems a good message to take from it, though, now that you bring it up.

Last thing this place needs is arguing amongst friends, until something we all regret comes up. Doesn't seem like a proper way to go about taking care of business.

Oh. Sorry then.

You're right. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way, with everything that's been going on in the network lately. Is it always like this?

Why apologize? It's not as though you've said anything that shouldn't be heard.

There've always been arguments, people who don't get along, but that's life at its core. Seems that people have really taken a turn in favor of rivalry as late, though.

Hell of a lesson.

Forgive me, I've been known to ramble on these kinda things.

John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney. Four names that shall long outlive the men.

Nah, it's alright. That's a point that needs to be made, I think.

I...haven't heard of them.

Was expecting that answer, unfortunately. Not too many folks around here seem familiar with the classics. The Beatles had world renown, but I guess it doesn't bleed through dimensions too often.

Given recent events, though, you might've recognized a lyric or two of theirs.
