Only ten more days of work after today's 8 hour shift... I checked Wells Fargo today and found out that they increased my credit limit $1,500. Not that I'm going to spend it (definitely not!) but it is nice to have good credit. Too bad this "free credit report" site has been stealing my money the last couple of months. My Chicago trip was a wonderful learning and social experience. I met with friends and paid two or three times what I expected to pay for two nights at a hotel. ubik2501 and the_af let me visit them along with the incomparable Ailsean and his lovely wife Kris. This story needs to be read if you care about the Internet and your rights out here surfing the Web.  These guys are the same ones trying to say that they should be the ones deciding for all consumers what is and isn't appropriate to be viewed by you when you browse.

Today, quite the opposite of yesterday happened. I guess I asked for it. A customer called me to tell me how disappointed he was in the business for not resolving an issue that was solved by printing out a printing label. It was hard not to take it personally. Here I am at work, waiting for the phones to ring.  Business today is slow.  How do you all pass the time at work when you are not completely immersed in a project of some sort?

What gets you motivated? What spurs on your self-actualization?

I ask because there are so many things I think of doing every day and yet I do not do any of them. I sit in front of the computer and read forums all day long. It is a serious problem that I need to fix before school starts, at the very least.

Today work stressed me out for the first time. It might have just been the caffeine, though. By the end of the work day I was ready to ride out of there as fast as possible.
