I really did *like* the movie, the first half was great and the last half was blah so it balanced out to a 'good'.
But I've become progressively more and more ticked off at the ending of the movie so I'm going to rant. XD
First and most importantly - no battle at Hogwarts? Seriously? The only action scene written for the book wasn't included in the movie? Talk about anti-climatic. Leaving out the battle also renders the whole Vanishing Cabinet thing completely useless, since the Death Eaters DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WHEN THEY ARRIVED AT HOGWARTS (unless you count Grand Hall vandalism. Uhm, Bellatrix is awesome).
I didn't mind that Snape *tricked* Harry into not acting before he killed Dumby. I don't like that Dumby couldn't block a simple disarm curse from Draco - in the book it's because he used that time to basically save Harry's life, in the movie it's cause he kinda sucks as a wizard.
No tormented, conflicted Snape = WTF. Read the books Rickman plllleeeasse.
I was ok with the absence of Dumbledore's funeral, I don't think they needed to drag out his death any longer. I wasn't ok with how everyone gathered around his body blankly stone-faced. Uh... emotions don't exist in the wizarding world? I bet they were worried about out-acting Harry. XD
Also: Draco is freakin' hawt. When did he become that hawt.
