another birthday comes to a close... thought i'd get by this year without disappointment... almost did, yet i got let down anyway... had fun letting meghan and xueli take me out and treat me to dinner... food and company was good... tomorrrow night is dave and busters with some more people... maybe it will all make up for tonight's ending...

called off sick from work... my throat is sore and though i think it's more just dripping from my allergies i couldn't be bothered to deal with anything today... i don't know what's crawled up my ass sideways but it's in there and doesn't want to come out... maybe a day in bed will help... time to take care of myself...
