Well, I am officially single again. But that's ok, cuz now it means that he and I can be friends again. Happened rather sudden, but I guess in hindsite it had been building up

It looks like you're looking into the possibility? And yes, you will probably get a stipend or graduate teaching position, and when you're done you'll be Dr. Scientist! Might go ahead and sign up to take the GRE and study for it. No harm in taking the exam.
What is the GRE anyways, I have never looked into graduate school before, this is the first time I actually considered it, and I keep seeing those letters everywhere. I know it's a standardized test for undergrads going into grad school, but what does it focus on? Math, science, english, everything?
Yay for Dr. Scientist!!!!!!!! With a lab coat too!!!!!
The GRE is remarkably like the SAT. It has a math and a verbal section. When I took it there was an analytical section that none of the universities I applied to used in their consideration. I forget what I made on the math section, it was respectable, but I do recall I made an 800 -- perfect score -- on the verbal section.
Even though you and him are friends again, from what I saw yesterday you were both great together. To me it was still like you two were dating because you still acted the same way around each other, but with no anger this time. I'm glad that you two can still be friends cause not everyone is lucky to still be friends with their ex's.
You're gonna do great on your interview! I don't know who wouldn't hire you, you are a wonderful person! I wish you the best of luck and you'll have to let me know tomorrow night how it went.
As for graduate school, I'm glad you are keeping an open mind and looking into this even if you end up not doing it. You still are looking into it and it'll take time before you know if you really wanna do this. If you do it, that's great and will be a great opportunity, but if you don't do it, you still will be a college graduate and that is something to be proud of!
