Haven't been doing so hot lately. I'm off my meds because I can't get in to see my doctor, but she won't renew my prescription without an appointment, but she has no appointments... catch-22, etc. So I keep wavering between paralyzing depression and slow-burning rage. Last night I made ravioli from scratch. All of it. The pasta and the ricotta filling and the sauce. Yes, I actually made cheese! With my own two hands! I really want to make paneer next, see how that goes, and then get a bit more adventurous. I'm posting from my brand new Toshiba Thrive tablet. I bid on it in a charity auction at work and got it for way less than retail. So I'm no longer getting the Kindle Fire. Sunday was my chocolate class. It was kind of disorganized and the guy was really ditzy, but the chocolates turned out so well! I spend most of the time making almond dragees (first and last pictures), but I also got to make a red pepper ganache.
