I am so happy to now have two days off of work. I stayed until 8 tonight so I wouldn't have to come in this weekend. Next week I have to be on-call. I plan on doing whatever I want tomorrow, which will include taking a nap, watching a DVD and catching up on my magazines. We saw Grind House last night. I liked "Death Proof" a lot better than "Planet Terror", but Josh and John disagreed. The commercials were amusing. The whole thing was long and extremely bloody, but if you love Tarantino like me, you won't be disappointed.

We just had a private dog trainer come to our home. So worth the money. Snoopy's whole world is turned upside now, though. There is no more getting up on the couch, no jumping on us, and she also said he can no longer sleep with us. That is going to be difficult since he howls in his crate. We just got back from seeing Dream Girls and I loved it. Josh was kind enough to agree to see it with me (I do have to see whatever movie he wants tomorrow, but he chose Casino Royale, so I can't complain). I am quite proud of myself. This takes a lot for me to say, since I am often so hard on myself. Yesterday, I helped deliver toys, clothes, food, school supplies and several bikes for a needy family of five for Christmas. I coordinated the project for my co-workers to participate in and together we spent over $820 on gifts for this family. I think ( Read more... )
