Driving test :(

I had my car driving test yesterday. I failed. :(

I almost passed. I got 10 grade 2 errors, and 1 grade 1 error. Max your allowed to have is 8 grade 2 and 0 grade 3. Oh well. I haven't re-applied yet. I did it in Rathgar, Someone told me that Chruchtown has a higher passing rate.

My sister did hers yesterday (for the second time) and got 20 grade 2 faults. So you're doing pretty well!! She was like "well I didn't get any grade 3s" (she got a grade 3 on her first test, almost killed someone on a roundabout!) and still thinks it's the examiner's fault she failed "because he's known for being tough". I had to point out that 20 is a loooot. My first test I got 13 I think, only 4 or 5 in second.

You'll get it next time, what worked for me was having 2 lessons on the morning of my test and going straight to the test centre from the lesson. I think the fact that I'd been driving around the town for nearly two hours helped a lot, I was in that frame of mind at that stage...

I did a mock test a while ago and got 38 grade 2s and 8 grade 3s. That's when I rang them and postponed my test. :)

Good advise about doing the lessons before the test. I have also found I drive better after I've been driving for about half an hour, I'll try that.
