i watched an odd movie this evening.
"Southland Tales"
I still don't get it even though 96% of the pieces fell into place.
if you've not seen it, think of "The Cell" meets "Pulp Fiction" who go on a three-way date with "SkyCaptain & the World of Tomorrow".
If i took drugs, i'd take some acid and try watching it again - the ending might make some

Today, a non-LJ friend and I went to The Mono Cliffs Conservation area for a hike. We had hiked there in the mid-Autumn last year with the foliage in full transition and thought it would be neat to see this wide-open space in the still of winter. The Landlords here at my current place inherited a country farmhouse from his dearly departed mother.
Its WAY out there and would take me almost 1.75 hours to commute each way - they offered me the detached inlaw's cottage, but i sadly had to decline.
So, two weeks from today, i'll be migrating from "A" to "B"...
