Album material isn't so much dictated by the number of songs on it, but by the overall length of the material. Wikipedia notes that a CD single usually has between 10-28 minutes of music; a CD EP has up to 36 minutes; and an album is between 30-80 minutes. Of course, these are probably just arbitrary numbers made up by recording companies, but I myself would consider a proper album length to be 40-60 minutes long.

When it comes down to a personal feeling, if you believe that your set of songs share the same theme, underlying story, or constitute and articulate a certain period, or mood in your life, then it's all your prerogative as the artist to consider it an album.

Yeah, I feel like this would be "complete" as far as an album should be. And all my songs are from 4 to 5 minutes long on average, so that's about 40 minutes right there. And they definitely all work together as far as their styles and moods go.

Thanks for the help!

Definitely! She'll be singing backup in at least 3 songs. I might let her have one of the verses in one song too. She's gonna sing with me when I do shows to promote the thing too.

Rad! Let us know if there's a way to get it from the U.S.

Oh, and out of curiosity, are they in English, or Japanese, or a mix?

I'll set it up somehow to be available in the US too. :) And it'll be a mix of English and Japanese. Gonna have some songs have both English and Japanese versions too.
