It's amazing. The things you read when you come across some people's journals. It's laugh worthy. People supposedly calling other people "bio boy" and having arguments about organic food. It's cute, it really is. People are so easily bothered by the most simplistic things.

So I've moved in with Adam and Marjorie. We're at the old house. Jimi moved downstairs and now has a new tank where he can easily sunbathe. Peachy is now in the "lounge" as we call it, but it's really "Adam's WOW area." Hannah, Emily, and Phil are over all the time playing Donkey Konga, and it's great just to have a place to relax. It's actually not relaxing most of the time however. You don't realize how much effort it takes into keeping a house in good condition until you have to do it yourself. My room is still trashed from all the extra stuff that was shoved into my room during the move to mom's new house(which is beautiful, by the way.)

The first day of classes went well. I have lit with Jon, which I KNOW will add interest to the class. The registrar pissed me off to no end today, but I think that's actually in their job description. The good thing about admissions people being dense is that you realize that Sylvia, the music department secretary really knows how to solve the world's problems. She seems to be the only one who knows what the hell is going on and how to solve it.

New Years Eve '06 was amazing. We missed the ball dropping, but it didn't matter. We still played DDR, Donkey Konga, and had our scrumptious champagne. I played Auld Lang Syne on the piano and called my Fayetteville friends. Poor Barrett was sick, but Mark and Josh were past inebriated. It was quite entertaining.

I think it's about time to plan a Waffle House trip with Adam. First class is at 11 tomorrow. =)
