About bullying, can we talk?

Advance notice: Forgive me if I get emotional here.

So, I've been away for a while. What's brought me back now has been the recent spate of kids killing themselves because they were being bullied. Sorry, it's impossible to not involve politics in anything.
It took me some years, maybe into my mid-late 20s, to realise this, but it's a fact. And it annoys me that people don't want to watch the news and understand what politics is about, or teach their kids about the way the world works, because it does affect them. Every single day.

I actually agree with that entirely. Everything both affects and is affected by politics. Partlu due to the direct effects of laws and attitudes but also because the sharp division between private greed (the Tories/used-to-be-Liberals)and collective responsibility (Labour, kinda, sorta) pretty much encapsulates the interplay between humanity's noble impulses and our lizard brain selfishness ( ... )
