Random question meme:

The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

What brought you to Dublin?

Number of different things....but the biggest factor was how small and bigoted Sligo is. I hated walking down the street and getting called a freak for having spiky blue/random coloured hair and a few piercings. And I hated that everyone knew my Dad and my family and loved talking about "Damiens freaky kid". Everyone knew everyone else, and I wanted to do my own thing without it being discussed and dissected.

Then there was CTYI, which meant I had a hell of a lot of friends in Dublin. And college, I only applied for courses here. And the anonymity of Dublin, the ability to walk around the city for a day and not meet anyone I knew. And the fact I looked normal, or at least not that unusual up here. And I'm sure there were other things, but they're the main ones!

You know I have no idea if you're an only child or if you have siblings?!

One brother, Paul, 18, turning 19 next month. We couldn't be more different, he's a River Island and Topman kinda guy, likes dance and techno (and not the good stuff), and is hideously mainstream. But still very intelligent and a lovely guy. He confuses me.

I think siblings are always supposed to confuse each other! Do you guys get on okay, despite being really different?
