It sounds like the new year is promising to be a good one for you, and certainly an adventurous one. No matter how cliché, the things we have to struggle for are the ones that we'll never forget because the road there will have shaped us ins some way. And eventually, the heart will always find a way to get its. Hmm, I think the fever is turning me pretentious. ;)

It has certainly been so far! I am in complete agreement about the heart always finding what it needs at some point, things are much better for me now than before :)
