I'm in this tooth extraction situation because I didn't go for a while. When I was little I had perfect teeth. Never had a cavity. They were like teeth of steel. And when I got older and my mother no longer scheduled my checkups I didn't go every six months like I should have. Then I found a dentist I liked and went to him for a while, but when he sold his practice I didn't want to go to someone else and didn't go at all for years. That and Mountain Dew... That soda is apparently kryptonite to perfect teeth. Not getting fillings fast enough because money is tight has led to broken teeth that are no longer savable and damn. It sucks. Whats worse is I still have a ton of fillings to get too. But I gave up soda, so I should at the very least get a gold star for that!

Well, just once. For braces when I was six...but other than that for nothing else. I barely wore those braces for a year or so anyway. xDD

I can't give up on soda but here I am pushing twenty - a veritable little old lady...of which I'm not little nor old xDD - and with not a single cavity.

Not that I'm inviting one either...*snicker*

Frankly, I tasted Mountain Dew once. It was one of the most horrible experiences of my life. I'm never drinking that again! Coke must be more healthy than that chemical-y thing. And that's saying something. xP

Yeah. I know how the prices go - when you're a dentist everything is so cursedly expensive that the prices for the patients go up as well. At least that's the way it is here.
