Southern Rock Opera is depressing directly proportional to the amount of liquor you've had - or haven't had.

I don't know what that is, but I know I want it. :)

SOUTHERN ROCK OPERA by the Drive By Truckers. Alt country - the 70s in all its upheaval, angst and beauty seen through the great cosmic glory and tragedy that was Lynyrd Skynyrd. Of course, "Let There Be Rock" is my favorite. Though there's something just compelling about "Plastic Flowers on the Highway."

Ah, and here I was thinking it was a new theatrical genre. Nerts. :p I'm actually already a fan for the Drive By Truckers, they're just one of those bands whose album names won't stick in my head. Of course now your comment makes perfect sense.

LOL -

Naw, just me listening to rowdy alt country. Trying to get a Stoney LaRue song out of my head. Not working. Guess that means I need to write a story.
