[anotp: jaenelle] she's a dancer on the glass

Jaenelle loves the outdoors. She always has - it's part of being Witch, and partly just her, that she likes to feel the air and the smell of life around her. Today she is sitting on the porch swing, wearing a light sundress, and swinging slowly back and forth as she looks out at the woods ( Read more... )

Dean's nose is itching, but he's not superstitious enough to so much as think that it means someone is thinking about him; he just scratches it and keeps walking because sometimes an itchy nose? Is just an itchy nose.

He's been kind of an ass lately, and though he knows better than to apologize for it (because he would mean it, but it wouldn't stop him from being an ass again in the future, so that makes it meaningless), he does have a few tricks up his sleeves, so to speak. He'd spotted Jaenelle through a window and, after a moment, made a decision.

When he appears on the porch, it will be with a slice of freshly Plotholed blackberry pie in each hand, forks pinned under their respective thumbs, and a pretty young expression on his face.

"Hey, sweetheart." He'd bother to sound surprised, except he clearly already knew she was out here. That or he eats off two plates, which in retrospect, might not be the weirdest thing he could do.

Jaenelle looks up and around, and takes in Dean, pie, and expression. The smile that blooms is utterly charmed and delighted, and she stands up with almost a bit of a bounce. "Oh - Dean!" She indicates the pie. "Did you," she starts to ask, and then blushes, bright pink on her fair skin.

She doesn't want to presume, or anything! But she is happy to see you, and it shows on her face, unfeigned.

The moment he's in range, Dean holds out one of the plates to her and grins easily.

"Sure did. Clicked my heels and wished it into the cabinet. I already ate a piece, and it's good; that, or they've learned to make poison taste like sugar." His expression goes slightly, rogueishly lopsided at that because he obviously doesn't think it's poisoned at all; what he does think, though, is that she is freaking adorable when she blushes, and that lends a touch of previously lacking sincerity to his light heartedness.

If it's possibly, she only looks more delighted as she takes the plate. "--oh, I don't think so," she says, only slightly teasingly, and sits down, on the other end of the swing. "Here, sit with me - thank you so much for this!"

She's clearly genuinely surprised, too. It's sad, but all too often when people seek her out it's because something's gone wrong. It always makes her happy when people just...seek her out.
