I want to go to a Pumpkin Patch! They always look like so much fun. It's quite clear that it's an American tradition the UK needs to adopt right now - we've stolen enough of them, why not this fantastic one?!

I'd say that goes both ways! However, I will bring the Peanuts with me and you can adopt that. We can all sit around and watch that.

I would have to say this would have been more fantastic if it had been a real pumpkin patch instead of a lot with a bunch of pumpkins scattered about. It felt like a bit of a farse, really, but oh well. Maybe next year, eh! At least we got us a hay ride!

Yep - I've seen lots where they are still growing, but the ones where they aren't seem pretty common too! They certainly make for great photo opportunities, and the hay ride does sound like fun.

Still, we get Bonfire Night (Guy Fawkes) next week on the 5th - I know you have 4th July instead, but it's more fun having fireworks in the winter as it gets darker quicker!

I know! I love Guy Fawkes near the Thames.

I did bring July forth to Bucks one year. I made Amer'cn food for my housemates and we BBQ'd in back garden and then played footie. I think I lost, but the men were fed and happy so in that respect I won!

So adorable! They get so very mobile after the first year. I have to sort through so many pictures of the back of her head, it's ridiculous.

I have many thousands of images to go through and I'm constantly finding ones I'd forgotten about as well... it's thoroughly ridiculous.

I still have to take on the rather ambitious task of cataloguing his first year.
