There's really nothing going on, though.  Just got back from being in Atlanta for 4 days on a hockey roadtrip. It was almost perfect, 'cept the Bolts lost in OT. But, hey - Vancouver won and I went to that game in Canucks gear.

So Thelma and I were out to lunch at Publix with some coworkers and while we were waiting for them to check out, we browsed the magazines.  One of the (umpteen) bridal/wedding magazines had a blurb that read HOW TO SAVE $5000! on the cover.  The first one should be "Don't waste $9.95 on this stupid magazine."

As yesterday was shaping up to be the worst birthday ever, which followed the worst New Year's ever which was preempted by the worst Christmas ever... once 8:00 and I was able to meet up with all my friends for some sushi and laughs, it brightened up my day.  It was good to see people I haven't seen in like a year or so and was very grateful for ( Read more... )
