What???? You totally have the right to announce your ideas about anything. You studied poetry, you write poetry, if the accompolation doesnt appeal to you... it should be heard! But I still would be wicked embarassed.

Damn, now that truely is irony for you. But i agree w/ the other person, you know a ton about am. lit. so i'm sure you were able to carry on an intelligent convo and put him and his stupid book in its place. You should have shown him some of your own work and have been like, "see, this is what good poetry is." You could have totally gotten yourself a plug!! lol. see you around
