Wedding Bells...

Oh my. Oh my oh my. Still in a state of shock.

Thank you to all with the well wishing and the like, especially on LJ, it means a lot to Eric and I that people are happy for us! ^_^ Should be a hell of a time. But no worries to some people, we aren't even starting to plan (have a tentative date set *next* summer of 2006 sometime). Don't worry ya'll: I'm finishing school (which was never an issue with Eric and I) and I'm having fun. Eric is the love of my life (and I'm allowed to be gushy-wushy).

When I get my ring back (shiny shiny shiny!) I'll post some pics so ya'll can get a good look at it. It's absolutely gorgeous. Most of the people thought I knew what was going on: I had no clue whatsoever. I always told Eric I wanted to be surprised...

One of the funniest aspects of the night was Sharkbait. Now, I've known Paulie since high school, and I know his personality fairly well -- so when he told me he brought a video camera to the dance to get the drunk girls to flash him -- I didn't question it! -- It wasn't a "Hmm, that's strange" no, no, I replied with "Hmm, that sounds like you" -- sneaky bastard. I know he's got a ton of footage of me telling him, on camera, "Paulie, I'm not drunk enough to flash you" (him laughing the whole way).

Jay was uber excited as well. We still are close in an odd way, and the first person I talked to was Shirley, his mom. He told her, "Mom, you have to talk to Jenny" -- hilarious because he was just plastered. She's beyond happy. I'm inviting his whole family.

The rest of the weekend remained low-key (respectively): work. Thankfully, there was Senior Send-off in Sheboygan so we could bid farewell to our lovely MR, Mer, Mary Rose, or Demona (pick your fancy). I hope she had a good time as an active in EC her four years. She had great stories to tell: the best times, the worst times, the times that just made her who she is today. Very reflective. I can't believe next year I'll be in her shoes, and conveying my words of wisdom (ha!) to the freshman.

Last night + Chris Rock "Never Scared" = Fun times with EC girls (w00t)

Eric and I went to his apartment last night and baked brownies, they were tasty ones with little peanut butter cups -- they were for work, otherwise I'd have eaten them. Ec girls and chocolate.

This Wednesday is my first day without catechism.
This Thursday is my first meeting as former president: *weight lifted off shoulders* ahh.
This Friday is gaming: *slaps crook of arm* I neeeeeeeed it maaaaaaan! Toebe rox!

Oh, and Meg, or fantom07, about your kitten. Totally have seen that. The caterwauling is annoying as hell, but it sure is fun to watch. If you don't mind your house smelling like a fithy moist sock. Mmm. I had to do it. Imagine it. Do it. Doooooo iiiiiiiiit.
