I reckon I should count myself lucky that I got these names on my hand after everybody figured out what was going on ( Read more... )

Under the circumstances, that's a bit of a relief.

It could have been someone much worse than Seamus, thank goodness.

You're good at carpentry? I don't suppose you'd mind fixing the broken leg of the coffee table in our living room, would you? I hope that's not a job so easy it'd be demeaning to your skills or anything, it's just that I reckon I'd probably make it worse if I tried fixing it by magic.

Oh, that's no trouble at all! I can just drop by after work tonight, if you like.

No. I'd rather just be left out of this. But it's probably too late.

Definitely too late. Your name's on my hand. So, is there something you need accomplished? Some task you need help with? Some food item you want to eat? A type of beer you like? Help me out here.

Well, Kirke is definitely bent. And Richard has Ackerly who's also bent. Why not you two work together and set them up?

Kirke's straight, I'm pretty sure. Cauldwell's...well, I don't know which way Cauldwell swings. Frankly, I have a hard time imagining him being willing to spend time with another human of any sex long enough to shag them.

Not possible. I have never met a straight man that... polite? Earnest? I don't know what he is but it isn't straight. Ask Mandy, I'm sure she'll agree with me.

I'm pretty sure sex is the last thing on Cauldwell's mind. Maybe you should build him a hut in the mountains where he can be a hermit. I think he's like that.

Oh, c'mon. Being polite doesn't mean he's gay. There are lots of nice straight guys out there.

The hermit hut, though...that seems like a good idea. A bit much, though. Maybe I can just shutter over his windows.
