I don't think you ought to. I don't actually blame my friend for leaving - I just think it's tough luck that everyone seems to be doing it.
Indeed. And we do seem to live relatively close so we might have passed each other on the street or something of the sort. I do generally find it funny how similar your music taste is - as you might have noticed, Kiev is not exactly swarming with Jeff Buckley fans (and if it is, then they are swarming very quietly). And I'm yet to thank you for re-recommending Interpol to me. Just a random question - how many Ukrainian Interpol fans do you know? I have managed to seek out a fair few when it comes to Radiohead (although most of them later admitted that they have no idea what Thom is saying and what the last album was called) but no one seems to have heard of Interpol, which is odd since they are getting rather famous.
I don't blame myself per se, but I can imagine my friend Olga would be a bit lonely with me leaving. Her other close friend may be leaving for Japan the same time so we're sort of leaving her all alone here. I don't think it can be helped though

I liked that Murakami book.
Know what's funny? We could have met many a time at the British Council and not realized that :)
