2. i'm glad my birthday is in october because i, like you, am depressed to be unemployed and am suffering from reverse culture shock. it would not be fun to try and celebrate something now.
3. it's okay to give a lot and get nothing back. sounds masochistic, i know, but it's a good wake up call for the ego. how can you give wholeheartedly if in part you are giving to receive? but it is also important to be loved. therein lies the dilemma.
