I went through something similar... In that what friends I had were enough of a ... 'family' for me, even if I don't remember anything about my own.

[actually, a lot of this is relevant to things Philip is thinking right now. Humnnnn.]

I don't think I dislike anything... it's all able to be learned from.

Yeah. Everything is a learning experience. Being away also helps you learn a lot about stuff like that. It all becomes clearer the longer you're away, at least for me.

I think because the City has people from different worlds. So anything that would be seen as strange back in our worlds, isn't here.
