that's easily fixable. with a blonde wig and some firetruck red lipstick, uncanny japanese robot baby can join the ranks of Realdolls! (which raises the 'still' line a few notches, for some. not me. never. ever.)

What's weird is that I'm repulsed by that not because of its human characteristics but by the fact that it's kind of a mockery of humanity, in its way, unintentionally. It was like a parody of a baby.

I should also note that those dolls whose eyes open and close also terrify me.

i seem to remember saying just the other day that the rate of technological change was weirding me out. Still, i did learn some new things (i didn't know what the uncanny valley was before) and that is always valuable.
