The reason I have a distinctive ringtone for my workplace is so I know not to answer the phone. :P

Make sure if they're working you at night, they're not screwing you out of a shift differntial. Most states require one.

I would agree on that part. Do not let them get away with abusing your kindness and willingness to help out.

I really appreciate you guys' concern, that I do. It makes me feel a bit better about the world at large. Truth be told, when I was talking to the Assistant Manager, he reminded me, when told that I would be working partial graveyards with the other guys on Mondays, that I'd be paid an extra quarter an hour for those hours worked. So yay, shift differential.

And it's okay. I didn't really mind working today -- except for the not feeling well, but when I get my weekend (wed/thurs), I'll rest it off and all will be well. Besides, if not me, then who?
