While I'm on a posting spree...
We made Easter dessert this weekend. I think these are my favorite things I've ever decorated. =D
Munchkin helped with every aspect from mixing the cake batter to decorating the final product. I think they came out super cute!

Vanilla cupcakes, vanilla buttercream, sugar bunnies, jellybeans, Twizzlers "handles" - our wee little Easter baskets.
The big cake up front. Butter cake, coconut macaroon & raspberry filling, coconut buttercream, coconut "grass," various Easter candies and some pastel sprinkles for decoration.
A more complete shot of the cake - I baked it in a Bundt pan and inverted it, piped a border, and just before serving I'll add a "handle" we fashioned (won't fit in my carrier with the handle!). It's a big Easter basket to go with our wee little ones!
I started to basketweave the sides of the big cake, but between my exhaustion and the kiddo's jumping around and bumping into the table, I abandoned that idea. It still looks like an Easter basket to us!!
I'm so proud of these desserts. I can't wait to serve them tomorrow!!
