French clichés

Yesterday, don't ask me why, I searched for "France" definition on Urban Dictionary. I wanted to see what kind of clichés would be written there, if there were other clichés than those I already know. Actually there was and I wanted to clear up a few things. No, I'm not putting it under a LJ-cut, sorry ! :)

I think it's really interesting to hear what you have to say about French cliches. Clearly you don't hate Americans, as you like me! I think anyway...

I think the medias really make a big deal about nothing and it's them who create the clichés. I mean this is not because our government decided not to help your some times that the citizens have to hate each other. Basically, we are just normal peoples in rich countries, with the same problems, same hopes and often same tastes. I see people of my flist as people and not citizens of X or Y country, I don't care, sometimes I don't even know where they're from. And the most important is their ideas, though I can get along with people with very different ideas.

And when you hear that frenchies aren't ok with your government, you americans should really not think about it because we are NEVER ok with our own government. ^^"

*snorts* You know, if you research Germany you might find things like "Hates France, invaded it at least twice, still kicks itself that they had to give up pieces of land to france in reparation ( ... )
