Such an attack would weaken the creature so a full frontal force could defeat it.

Indeed, though it seems our histories differ in this matter. Oda Nobunaga did fall, though not to Akechi Mitsuhide but instead a combined army.

I see. Such army did not exist in my world.

Lord Shingen ... Oyakata-sama was taken by an illness before Nobunaga started his more brutal campaigns.

It must have a weakness or two, despite it's large size.

It seems that combined attacks will take out its appendages but to attack the beast, a focused blow to its weak point is our best chance.

One must find the weak point first. It has been quite elusive, so far.
