I do wonder what sort of festival this "Halloween" is. Such an odd name. The decorations are quite odd, as well. These webs about could be a hindrance to movement, though without the presence of the Kraken, such movement will probably not be necessary for at least a few days. Bishamonten watch over the festival so it will go without trouble

I am uncertain. However if this festival follows suit of ones prior, then attendance is voluntary.

It's a different way of saying All Hallow's Eve, and it's a strange event celebrating all things haunted. Various countries celebrate it differently, but the food should be good at least.

Such an unusual thing to celebrate. I would expect a celebration of ancestors but of hauntings? How unusual.

I'm not entirely sure why either, just that it is mostly commonly related to the harvest festival and the celtic god Samhain, and/or it's a festival for the dead. Throughout the years, it evolved into something like this.

I am not familiar with Samhain at all. Quite possibly it is a foreign concept.
