two things I've learned in my four days of commuting

May 17, 2007 07:49

1. I always thought that the left lane moved faster. NOT TRUE. The right lane has a lot less stop/go action.

2. I have a new pet peeve, people that brush their hair in the car in front of me. I don't know what it is but it just makes me want to go a little homocidal watching them do that.

Oh, just wait. LOTS of other fun-filled commuting peeves to get under your skin lay just around the corner...

Don't ever get behind me in traffic when I forgot I had to be in Avondale and am doing my hair AND makeup in the rearview mirror while going 80mph, then. Because it'll end our love affair.

Only four days and you're feeling homocidal? You need to find a ride share with someone so you can snark together. Or learn a language together or sing loudly at the hair-brushing losers.

I find that people think they are alone in a car and do the most wrong things in the fish bowl that they are really in. And so do I, I'm afraid.

Maybe they'll end up whacking themselves in the head? thecuckoo May 18 2007, 13:28:10 UTC
Grooming should take place in RESTROOMS. If these slackers can't do it before they leave the house in the morning, then they can duck into their office restroom and finish primping. It's not hard!
